Living at Everil Orr

Independent Living

For people who prefer more community and less retirement.

From starting the day with a barista made coffee and freshly baked muffin, to settling down in the communal lounge with a glass of wine at the end of it, life at Everil Orr Living provides the opportunity to socialise and mingle as much as you wish.

A monthly planner includes exercise classes, pot-luck dinners and movie nights. And for those after the easy life, the café also provides a selection of delicious frozen ready meals.

Welcome to your
new home

The simple pleasures of being at home were a central point of reference in the design of this community. The resulting luxury apartments are light, spacious and welcoming, and benefit from open-plan layouts, allowing natural light to flood the living space. Many include private balconies or terraces with elevated views across the upper harbour and Waitakere Ranges. This is the life.

Amenities designed around you

Everil Orr Living has been developed with health and well-being at front of mind. The social, recreational and dining environments have been created to be an extension of your own home, ready for you to use, as and when you choose; on your own, or with friends and family. A spacious welcoming lounge is the perfect spot to enjoy a drink, perhaps while entertaining guests, and the café offers a fresh, delicious and healthy menu. If you prefer peace and quiet, a library is there for your enjoyment.

Charming gardens

The landscaped areas at Everil Orr Living form a series of connected green promenades, filled with colourful and scented plants. Designed to be enjoyed all year round, these are places in which you and your visitors can be active, or simply relax and enjoy the surroundings with a barista coffee from the café.

An abundant vegetable garden has been created for your enjoyment, offering the opportunity to flex your green fingers and nurture fresh produce.

When my wife and I were choosing a retirement village to move to, we considered the location of them to our family and the aspect to the sun. In Everil Orr my wife and I now know all the residents, at least to greet in passing and to chat to at functions and in the cafe. This makes it easy to develop friendships. We retain a small number of very long-term friends to visit or holiday with. We invite village friends, and are invited, for a casual cuppa or meal. We go walking with village friends. At Everil Orr the hall widths play an important part and allows us to meet and chat in the wide hallways, which is a really positive point and is quite different to other villages we have visited.
